We really need to discuss and indulge in the love affair between the 90’s culture and today’s fashion. No matter whether you hate it or love it, what Cindy Crawford wore and sported so strikingly 20 years back is today hotter then ever (again). So let’s just admit we are a tiny (or perhaps a large) bit interested and craving a bit of that American dream looks she got us wandering and dreaming back to, yes? Take a look below.
Let’s just ignore the fact that she is, well a god sent face of a woman, and focus more on the fact that she (and I would say every other woman) looks so casual and sensual in a pair of well used denim and a white tight tank top, or crisp white shirt. We know men love that (just ask any guy out there, and im pretty sure he’ll answer he loves a denim-white-tank-top-kind-of-woman).
When the balmy temperatures now arrive denim is probably the easiest way to switch a daily style to an after work or “drink-with-the-gals-look”. Adding a pair of glasses and casual espadrilles daytime to kicking them off, putting on the favourite pair of heels and a bright lipstick night-time. That’s just the magic with denim, except being a worldwide trend and never-ending material used in so many shapes, forms and cuts it is so transformable and unflagging.
I’m not going to go thru history this not being a history lesson and me knowing you all probably know more then you think you know about the story of denim, but what I am going to say is that it is so inspiring and amazing to see that a “work-wear-gear” can transform in to a tireless trend and evolution, thinking about it gets me thinking that everything is possible and probably it’s the American dream talking. Let’s just sing it like Rihanna, “She can be anything at all America, America…” sure thing Riri.
