I think it’s fair to say that nobody has missed the fact that it’s Coachella time, right? Coachella might be the one and only festival that makes even people who are not festival-material want to go and do the whole hippie-chic-thing. (Guilty)
So, what is it with Coachella that makes you want to go out of your own made up rules about never putting your perfectly pedicured feet at a festival?
I’d say a whole lot of reasons put together.
Let’s start with the fact that e v e r y o n e seems so utterly happy and ready for come-what-ever? Just look at these gorgeous ladies with Alessandra Ambrosio in the middle strutting their stuff and being flawless at a festival. I mean only at Coachella, people, only.
And then we have the fact that the whole bunch of everyone-who-is-anyone is going to be there, and you just might “randomly” bump in to Rihanna and she just might lip-sync in your instagram video (that actually happened to a fan this year).
Or how about the fact that you would’ve been able to witness Drake being French-kissed by none other then Madonna herself. That’s just one for the history books.
But let’s just ignore all the facts and reasons why we should’ve been there and try to focus on the fact that the fashion scene on Coachella is becoming so deeply studied and researched that they might just call it “Boho-ella” in the near future.
I do like my bohemian, hippie-chic, romantic, flare at time to time, but to be frank it’s on the edge to become one of those overexposed super trends you just cant stand anymore. Important to remember we are not there yet it’s still pretty charming. But let’s just stay at that point shall we?
I want to share with you some of the looks I really enjoyed and get inspired by, effortless, timeless and chic but still with the boho-ella vibe…
Kate Bosworth, right. is one of my fav’s always, her look is so well put together with the festival vibe but still leaning towards chic. That jacket is the perfect piece of summer jacket I’ve seen in a while.
Models Bella Hadid and Sara Sampaio stick to black and white. And I sure like that. It’s the timelessness and the fact that you can go a little crazy on the cuts and shapes but still remain classy.
This all black look with the tux jacket over the shoulders is just so correct! Reminds me of Bianca Jagger back in the days when festival chic was something she (amongst others) was there to create.
Kendall looks well, stunning.
Love the combo and the guts of the lady to the far right, pulling off “fancy pants” at a festival. Bravissima!
That was the outfit’s that caught my attention this year. How about you? Get some looks here
For next year I wish for some surprises and maybe people who we couldn’t ever have imagined being there… I mean just think about Miss Posh, Victoria Beckham at Coachella! Yes that’s some looks id love to see!
